Saturday Dec. 5th, 2009, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm Eastern time in Ottawa

· Face-to-face classroom session in Ottawa.

Sunday Dec. 6th, 2009, 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm Eastern time

· Live webinar where you attend using your computer and phone from the comfort of home – no matter where you are in Canada!

· NCCAR’s webinars are interactive, and you will be able to ask questions and interact with the lecturer
· No technical knowledge required.

Cost:
For this inaugural event, NCCAR is subsidising the event, so the cost is only $40 per person for a 3 hour session (includes a 20 minute break in the middle).

This is an exceptional value, as this course normally costs several hundred dollars, but we want to make this valuable knowledge accessible and available broadly.

Lecturer: Anthony Salloum Anthony Salloum’s background includes a decade of parliamentary work and more than two decades of political activism, including extensive campaign experience in both federal and provincial elections. He served as policy advisor as well as legislative and communications assistant on foreign affairs, international development, peace advocacy and post-secondary education issues. He is recognized for having an in-depth understanding of Canada’s parliamentary system and solid working relationships with an extensive network of MPs and staff from all political stripes on the Hill. For the past three years he has used his experience to help civil society and labour organizations as a consultant with the Rideau Institute.
