Request for Media Team Volunteers
Are you closely following the developments unfolding for the people of the Arab World? Do you regularly read news and views from a diverse set of well-known media sources? Are you very comfortable using an iPad or iPhone? Do you reside in Canada?
If you answered yes to these questions and you would like to volunteer for about 2-3 hours a week that can be conveniently done remotely anywhere you are, you may be the perfect candidate to be a volunteer with NCCAR’s Daily Media Scan!
NCCAR Daily Media Scan
The NCCAR Daily Media Scan is an invaluable tool for those who need to quickly find out about the developments unfolding for the people of the Arab World. Parliamentarians and their staff, diplomats, academics, NGO leaders and the Canadian public all use this free, time-saving service.
Each day, NCCAR’s Media Team reviews an NCCAR-designed sophisticated system of newsfeeds that bring in news and views from over 50 well-known Canadian and international sources and hand-picks the most important and relevant articles, conveniently categorized by region.
- Stay on top of the rapidly-moving developments in one place AND save time and effort while doing so
- Supplement Canadian coverage with diverse international coverage
- A “Featured Commentary” section for opinion and analysis articles – many from international sources to supplement the very few available in Canadian media.
- The ability to view news by region of interest
