NCCAR comments on PA chargé d’affaires Exit

October 19th, 2011 (Ottawa): The National Council on Canada Arab Relations (NCCAR) Operations Adviser Imad Al-Sukkari was quoted yesterday in an article in the Vancouver Sun. The article reported the recent news on the exit of the Palestinian Authority chargé d’affaires Linda Sobe. Here’s an excerpt:

“Imad Al-Sukkari, operations adviser with the National Council on Canada-Arab Relations, said he had met Sobeh several times to talk about projects and cultural exchanges that might be undertaken. She’s very proactive, she’s very involved in the issues, she’s very passionate about them, and she’s very principled about the Palestinian cause,” Al-Sukkari said. “Her commitment to justice is definitely, compared to other ambassadors, one of a kind.”
